History of St Anne Parish
. Teen Education :

Senior High Youth Ministry meets every Sunday morning “between the Masses” from 9:45 until 11:15 in the Msgr. Hickie Center and the First and Third Wednesday of the month.  Sunday morning is our Religious Education offering and Wednesday Nights are our Youth Group/Community Nights.  Sunday mornings are devoted to study and interaction with the foundations of our Catholic Faith: Prayer, Creed, Liturgy and Sacrament, and Morality.

Senior High Youth Group, as mentioned above, is the Community building that is crucial for the development of a cohesive Youth Ministry.  On these nights we will have a variety of offerings from movies to sports to in-town outings to just chillin’ out with friends.  All that we do in Youth Ministry is to bolster the development of our young people in a safe, loving and Spirit filled environment.

Junior High Youth Group brings together students from St. Anne's Catholic School with students that attend public schools for the opportunity to grow together as they progress through the 7th and 8th grades.  This is the time that we attempt strengthen bonds within the group to insure a strong network of peers that naturally feed into the Senior High programs.  These meetings take place on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month in the Great Room of the church from 7pm until 8:30, unless of course we are out on the town stirring up fun and enjoying each others company!!!

Catholic Campus Ministry is a Church-home-away-from-church-home. In this ministry we reach out to support and bolster the faith of the many college students that live in our area. Masses are held at the campus chapels as well retreats and prayer opportunities.  I invite all students at King College and Virginia Intermont College to contact me so that we can build a network of area Catholic Students.  My office number is 276-591-5376 and my e-mail address is mrobison@stannes-bristol.org .
